Home My WebLink AboutReso 091-03 DHARedevArroyoVista RESOLUTION NO. 91 - 03 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE DUBLIN HOUSING AUTHORITY AND THE CITY OF DUBLIN REGARDING A GRANT FOR THE STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF REDEVELOPMENT OF THE ARROYO VISTA HOUSING COMPLEX WHEREAS, on May 20, 2003, the City Council was presented with an Agenda Statement regarding a request by the Dublin Housing Authority for a grant in the amount of $30,000 from the City's Inclusionary Housing Fund in order to conduct an analysis of the feasibility of redeveloping the Arroyo Vista Housing Complex; and WHEREAS, the Dublin Housing Authority owns a residential housing complex in the City of Dublin known as Arroyo Vista that provides housing to very-low and low income households; and WHEREAS, the City of Dublin Inclusionary Zoning Regulations allow for funds to be expended from the Inclusionary Housing Fund if such funds are used for the purpose of providing affordable housing; and WHEREAS, the Dublin Housing Authority is proposing to conduct a study on the feasibility of increasing the number of affordable units at Arroyo Vista; and WHEREAS, the City Council has been presented with an agreement entitled Agreement Between the Dublin Housing Authority and the City of Dublin Regarding a Grant for the Study of the Feasibility of Redevelopment of the Arroyo Vista Housing Complex; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the City Manager to enter into said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Agreement Between the Dublin Housing Authority and the City of Dublin Regarding a Grant for the Study of the Feasibility of Redevelopment of the Arroyo Vista Housing Complex is hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement in substantially the form attached as Attachment 3 to the agenda statement.
