Services Commission

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: The term of the student member to the Parks and Community
Services Commission expires on June 30, 2003. The opening was advertised and two applications were
received (Attachment 1).
Mayor Lockhart recommends the appointment of Olek Pawlowski to a term expiring in June of 2004 on
the Parks and Community Services Commission.
Staff recommends that the City Council confirm the Mayor's appointment to the Parks and Community
Services Commission and direct Staff to notify the Applicants, or provide other appropriate direction.

Thank you for expressing an interest in serving as the Student Representative'to the City's Parks and Community
Services Commission,
The purpose of the Commission is to consider and make recommendations to the City Council and Staff in all
matters pertaining to recreation services for the citizens of Dublin, The Parks and Community Services
Commission is made up of six members appointed by the' Mayor and approved by the City Council. The term of
office for the Student Commissioner is for one year, commencing July 1st and terminating the following
June 30th. The Commission meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p,m. Commissioners receive $50.00
for attendance at each meeting.
