HomeMy WebLinkAbout4.4 GrantDeedSafewayROW CITY OF DUBLIN AGENDA STATEMENT SUBJECT: City Council Meeting Date: October 27, 1986 Acceptance of Grant Deeds from Safeway Holdings For Right-of-Way on Dougherty Road and Dublin Blvd. EXHIBITS ATTACHED: 1) Grant Deeds 2) Resolution RECOMMENDATION: ~l~Adopt Resolution Accepting Grant Deeds FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None DESCRIPTION: As part of the conditions for the refurbishing of the old K-Mart store to the Pak 'N Save store at the northwest corner of Dublin Blvd. and Dougherty Road, dedications were to be made for the future widening of a right-turn lane southbound on Dougherty and for the modification of the intersection of the Pak 'N Save entrance at Dublin Blvd. and Dublin Court (for signalization). These deeds had been signed in April of 1985 but had never been delivered to the City for acceptance by the title company. ITEM NO. ~/'~ ~ COPIES TO: Safeway Holdings, Inc. First American Title RESOLUTION NO. -86 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN ACCEPTING FOR THE PUBLIC GRANT DEEDS FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES WHEREAS, conditions of approval for the Pak N' Save store remodeling required dedication of right-of-way on Dougherty Road and Dublin Boulevard; and WHEREAS, these dedications are necessary for the installation of future public improvements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby accept these grant deeds from Safeway Holdings, Inc., for roadway purposes.
