The Band Boosters provided a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, juice, fruit, milk and coffee. The band members were responsible for serving the breakfast and operating the "Photos with Santa" area. There were 408 participants this year in three seating times. Despite adding an extra seating to accommodate more participants registration did not increase significantly. Therefore Staff plans to return to two seating times next year. The event will be at the Shannon Community Center which can accommodate more people. Therefore two seating times should suffice. To receive a letter, an adult completed an application giving specific information about the recipient. A personalized letter was then prepared, printed on special Santa stationary, and mailed to each child. A nominal fee was charged to cover the cost of the stationary, postage and staff time. This year 95 letters were mailed, representing a 2% increase from the previous year. A large percentage of non-residents utilize this program.
