SUBJECT: Publicity Subcommittee for Teen Special Events

RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and recruit interested Committee Members to serve
on a Publicity Subcommittee for teen special events.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: Staff will solicit interested Committee Members to serve on a
Publicity Subcommittee responsible for assisting Staff with the advertising and marketing of teen special
events. To ensure the success of the teen events offered, it is important that Committee Members assist
Staff with the marketing of these events. Staff will market teen events on school campuses, on the teen
website, at City sponsored events, radio stations and locations throughout the community where teens
frequently visit. Staff wants input on other publicity methods as well. The subcommittee shall have no
more than six members
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Youth Advisory Committee receive the report and recruit interested Committee
Members to serve on a Publicity Subcommittee for teen special events.
