FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Cost for maintenance crew to install banners as requested. DESCRIPTION: Staff has received an application from Murray School District requesting to use the City's banner poles to display a banner advertising the District's "Farewell Reunion" to be held June 4th - llth. The City's Recreation Department had reserved the banner poles for the period of May 27th through June 6th; so the School District's banner would be on the banner poles for a week prior to the 27th. In addition, the School District has requested permission to use the fence at Shannon Center to display a banner during the period of time that the reunion is taking place. The City's policy in the past has been to allow use of the fence if two parties wish to display a banner at the same time. The City maintenance crew would install the banner on the fence as well as the one over the road in order to insure that it is securely fastened. Murray School District will be forwarding the required Certificate of Insurance prior to the date the banner is to be installed. Liability and Damages: The permitted shall be responsi bte for all liability imposed by law for personal injury or property damage which may arise out of the work permitted and done by permitted under this permit, or which may arise out of the failure on the part of the permitted to perform his obligations under said permit in respect to maintenance and encroachment. The permitted shall protect and indemnify the City of Dublin, its officers and employees, and save them harmless in every way from all action at law for damage or injury to persons or property that may arise out of or be occasioned in any way because of his operations as provided in this permit.
