BOX 2037, DUBLIN, CA 94568 PHONE: (415) 828-5817 November 28, 1989 City of Dublin Department of Public Works P.O. Box 2340 Dublin, CA 94568 Attention: Ginger Dear Ginger: Thank you for your courtesy during our telephone conversation of today. As we discussed, our interest is in obtaining a banner, strung above San Ramon Road, notifying local residents of the sign-up dates for the Dublin Little League. Our reasons for using this notice, along with our other methods of disseminating flyers, etc., is that the population is growing, and many children in Dublin attend private schools and do not receive the notices via the schools. Further, our success in having the notices distributed through the Dublin Unified School District is spotty, at best, for a variety of reasons. As we are limited in playing space, we are forced to take our sign- ups on a first come, first served basis. We are endeavoring to get the word out in as many various ways as possible so that parents may sign- up their children in a timely manner. Our sign-ups will be held at the Shannon Recreation Center on January 9, 16, 20, and 23. I have enclosed a copy of our sign-up notices for your reference. Any information that you can provide to us regarding availability, cost, and procedures for posting a banner is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
