SUBJECT: Presentation by Parks RFTA regarding Command Changes and
Future Plans for the Installation

DESCRIPTION:
In June 2003, Lieutenant Colonel James Doty assumed command &Parks RFTA in Dublin, as welt as the
command of Fort Hunter Liggett, Moffett housing and BT Collins housing in Sacramento. Camp Parks
will serve as the headquarters ofLTC Doty's overall command.
Lt. Col. Doty will be present at the Council meeting to discuss and answer questions regarding his
command philosophy and style, and the name of the installation now that it has become a United
Command. Lt. Col. Doty will also address the growth and future of the garrison, as well as land exchange
considerations and how those exchanges are expected to shape the future of Camp Parks.
RECOMMENDATION:
Receive presentation.
