RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution directing the preparation of the
Annual Report for the Landscaping and Lighting
District No. 83-2.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
Preliminary estimated 1989-90 budget engineering cost
is $2,000 to be paid through the Maintenance District.
DESCRIPTION:
As part of the review and approval of the 150-unit single family development
and the Amador Lakes development, certain landscaping and 'park maintenance was
made a condition of approval. This maintenance assessment district provides
funds for this work.
The County Assessor collects these monies for the City for the maintenance of
the park and landscaping along Stagecoach Road.
The District's boundaries include all of Tract 4719. It maintains all
Stagecoach Road landscaping, Stagecoach Park, and the interior slope
landscaping within Tract 4719.
Approval of this Resolution will begin the process for the annual landscape
maintenance report and assessment spread for this District for Fiscal Year
1989-90.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
DIRECTING PREPARATION OF ANNUAL REPORT FOR
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 83-2
WHEREAS, on January 23, 1984, by its Resolution No. 11-84, the
City Council initiated proceedings and by Resolution No. 10-84, it ordered
formation of Landscaping and Lighting District No. 83-2 (the "District")
pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972
(commencing at Section 22500 of the California Streets and Highways Code)
(hereinafter "the Act"); and
WHEREAS, Sections 22620 et seq. of the Act provide for the levy
of annual assessments after formation of ithe District; and
W~IEREAS, within said District, the existing and proposed
improvements and any substantial changes proposed to be made to the existing
improvements are generally as described on Exhibit A attached hereto and
hereby made a part hereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council does
hereby designate the Dublin City Engineer as Engineer for purposes of
preparing and filing with the Clerk a written report in accordance with
Section 22565 et seq. of the Act; said Engineer is hereby directed to
apportion said assessments in accordance to the benefits rmceived from said
improvements by the lots, pieces and parcels of land within the District, and
said Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish such preparation and filing
forthwith.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 10th day of April, 1989.

SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work shall be the maintenance of landscaping and irrigation with
the road right-of-way of Stagecoach Road between the limits of Amador Valley
Blvd. and Alcosta Blvd. and maintenance of all facilities within the mini-
park on Lot 152 of Tract 4719.
Further, the scope of work shall include the maintenance of the slopes and
landscaping and irrigation of the slopes within a public e~sement for those
slope areas to the rear of Lots 80 through 86 and 37 through 48, all within
Tract 4719.
