A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AGENT RESOLUTION FOR THE WINTER STORM OF 1995
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin facilities were damaged by what is being called the Winter
Storm of 1995 and;
WHEREAS, the City would like to participate in the Federal Emergency Management
Agencies (FEMA) disaster assistance program and;
WHEREAS, in order to be eligible for the program the City of Dublin is required to pass a
resolution authorizing the City's agent to execute an application to the appropriate federal and
State Agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Dublin that
Richard C. Ambrose, City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute for and on
behalf of the City of Dublin, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California,
the application and to file it in the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining
certain federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford
Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, or state financial assistance under the
Natural Disaster Assistance Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Dublin, a public entity established under the
laws of the State of California, hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State Office of
Emergency Services for all matters pertaining to such state disaster assistance the assurances
and agreements required.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of February, 1995.
