HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 030-95 Thomas PropertiesRESOLUTION NO. 30 - 95 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN APPROVING 'SALE OF SURPLUS CITY PROPERTY (NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAN RAMON ROAD AND DUBLIN BOULEVARD TO THOMAS PROPERTIES SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS WHEREAS, Thomas Properties requested to purchase excess City property on San Ramon Road at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard, noahwest comer; and WHEREAS, the City Council declared said property as surplus on October 3, 1995; and WHEREAS, local park and recreation and public housing agencies were contacted and declined interest in the property; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions 0fthe City of Dublin Municipal Code, the City Manager has negotiated a price with the adjacent property owner; Thomas Properties; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby approve sale, subject to conditions, of between 6,000 and 7,000 square feet of surplus City property as described in Exhibit A (plat anddescription) attached hereto, to Thomas Properties at a price of $8.71 per square foot (total price to be determined when total square footage is determined). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said approval of sale is subject to the City Council' s approval of the PETCO Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to execute the deed, PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 13th day of March, 1995.
