A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ADOPTING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SIGNIFICANCE
CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE FOR DUBLIN
BOULEVARD FROM THE EASTERN BART ACCESS DRIVE TO HACIENDA DRIVE
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), as amended
together with the State's administrative guidelines for implementation of the California
Environmental Quality Act, requires that certain projects be reviewed for environmental
impacts and that environmental documents be prepared; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21000 et seq. a
Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance has been prepared by the Dublin
Planning Department; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the project
(establishment of right-of-way line for Dublin Boulevard from the eastern BART access
drive to Hacienda Drive) will not result in the potential creation of any significant
environmental impacts identified in the Initial Study of Environmental Significance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council finds that the
Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance has been prepared and processed
in accordance with State and Local Environmental Law and Guideline Regulations, and
that it is adequate and complete and that the City Council hereby adopts the Negative
Declaration.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 8th day of August, 1995.
