HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 134-95 CityMgr-OESRESOLUTION NO. 134 - 95 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII~ OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN DESIGNATING CITY MANAGER AS AGENT TO EXECUTE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES APPLICATION WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has applied for federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988 and/or state financial assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act for flood damage which occurred in January and March of 1995; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared a report detailing the costs of said damage and maintenance response and completed the applications for assistance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby authorize Richard C. Ambrose, City Manager, to execute for and in behalf of the City of Dublin, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, said application, and to file it in the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining federal and/or state financial assistance as stated above; BE IT FLIRTHER RESOLVED that the City of Dublin, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State Office of Emergency Services for all matters pertaining to such state disaster assistance the assurances and agreements required. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November, 1995.
