A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AWARDING THE CIVIC CENTER CABLING PROJECT TO
JOHNSON CONTROLS
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin did, on September 30, 1994 publicly open, examine, an declare
all sealed bids for doing the work described in the plans and specifications for the Civic Center
Cabling Project authorized by the City Council on September 12, 1994; and
WHEREAS, said bids were submitted to the City Clerk, who has reviewe~l the bids to
determine the lowest bid which was responsive to the requirements of the bid documents; and
WHEREAS, the low bid submitted by Semans Communications Inc, in the amount of
$12,030.44, was determined by the City Council to be a non-responsive bid because bid addendum #2
was not included and the bid did not comply with Sections 1.2 and 1.3 of the bid instructions; and
WHEREAS, the bid mentioned hereinafter is responsive to the bid documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does
hereby award the City of Dublin Civic Center Cabling Project to the lowest responsible bidder who is
Johnson Controls at the bid of $14,636.80.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 1994.
