HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 037-92 BSK-DBX Soil RESOLUTION NO. 37-92 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH BSK & ASSOCIATES FOR SOILS AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING AND OBSERVATION FOR DUBLIN BLVD. EXTENSION FROM DOUGHERTY ROAD TO TASSAJARA ROAD WHEREAS, the City of Dublin plans to extend Dublin Blvd. from Dougherty Road to Tassajara Road, and WHEREAS, this road will be constructed in two phases: Phase I extends from Dougherty Road to Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way, and Phase II extends from Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way to Tassajara Road, and WHEREAS, soils and construction materials testing and observation for Dublin Blvd. Extension road improvements is needed and WHEREAS, services, and the work, contract personnel are needed to perform these technical BSK & Associates has demonstrated adequate ability to perform NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does approve the agreement with BSK & Associates to perform soils and construction materials testing and observation for Dublin Blvd. Extension Project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute the Agreement. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of April, 1992. Fees are subject to change without notice. Unit prices shown for the laboratory work, include reporting of laboratory test results and observations not calling for recommendations or conclusions. Field charges do not include office preparation of test sunnuary and report. Use of outside services, subcontractors, special equipment, machining, freight, and other charges are invoiced at cost plus 15% senrice charge. The charge schedule listed below is the basis for invoicing of Jobsite field activities for other than Professional personnel.
