SB 343
Senate Bill 343 mandates supplemental materials that have been
received by the City Clerk's office that relate to an agenda item after
the agenda packets have been distributed to the City Council be
available to the public.
The attached documents were received in the City Clerk's office after
distribution of the May 20, 2014 City Council meeting agenda packet.

Dear Sir,
We object to to change of land use for the following reasons:
At present city of Dublin does not have enough commercial projects on the eastern side of
Dublin,where thousands of Townhomes,Condos and Single family homes have been built.
You have also recently approved 1200 more homes in the city area,while substantially reducing
the commercial space.Do you want your Sales tax dollars to go to other cities?
There is a great need for more commercial space on these lots,where you plan to change its use and
build more homes.People living on east of Tassajara/Brannigan Road Even to buy Gas or do any
other shopping,either people have to go to Pleasanton or Livermore or drive to west side of city.
Moreover as we have a park on the west side of Tassajara Road(between central Parkway and
Gleason Dr),we should have something identical on the east side,where people may mingle.
Otherwise it will lose its character and openness.
At present there are 2 schools on the Brannigan street one of which is a Middle School and other is
a Montessori school. In the.morning and in the afternoon there is complete traffic bottleneck on
nearby streets including Gleason Dr. both at the time of school opening and closing.By building
more homes in the neighborhood,it will add to traffic during those times. Keeping it commercial
traffic will be segregated.
This city already had given approval of construction of thousands of homes in the east side(Fallon
&Positano)without bringing more commercial activities,where people may interact with others or
even buy groceries or go to fine restaurants or do shopping.. Some of the homes give a look of third
world country,when you look at them from Dublin Blvd towards north between Brannigan&
Grafton St. I am dismayed that you are spoiling the character of Dublin as a first class city and will
bring it into category of medium class city.
Therefore,we as Dublin resident strongly oppose to change of designation,against above
applications to Residential.Let existing designation remain and bring commercial activities to these
lots.
