DESCRIPTION:
On March 31, 2003, the City Council adopted the Goals & Objectives Program for Fiscal Year 2003-
2004. In order to keep the City Council abreast of Staff progress towards the objectives assigned by the
City Council, Staff has prepared a bi-monthly status report for the period ending October 31, 2002. As of
that date, a total of 14 of 117 objectives (12%) have been completed. With respect to high priority
objectives, a total of 13 out of 95 (14%) have been completed. There have been 5 major additional
assignments since March 2003. In the attached report, shaded items denote a status change since the last
update.
In June 2003, the City Council approved an Update to the Capital ImProvement Program (CIP) for Fiscal
Years 2002-2007 and appropriated funds for Fiscal Year 2003-2004. The attached C~ schedule lists 48
projects that received funding in Fiscal Year 2003-2004. The schedule shows the status for each project
and also identifies an estimated start and completion date. The schedule only includes a time frame for
those projects that are funded in Fiscal Year 2003-2004. Subsequent phases and future projects included
in the 5 year CIP but not ftmded in Fiscal Year 2003-2004 are not listed on the schedule. Two additional
schedules have been included in this update, which provide more detailed information for the Downtown
Improvement Implementation and Eastern Dublin Arterial Street Improvements CIPs. Five projects have
been completed since the program was approved in June 2003.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council receive the report.
