HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 113-92 Funding STP RESOLUTION NO. 113-92 A RESOLUTION OF ~ CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF DUBLIN COMMITMENT FOR CITY'S SHARE OF FUNDING FOR SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM ( STP ) PROJECT IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has applied and been recommended for $231,526 in STP funding for the installation of traffic signals at Dougherty Road and Sierra Lane and modifying that intersection and interconnecting the signal to existing intersection at Dougherty Road and Dublin Blvd. in the 1993 Transportation Improvement Program adopted by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and approved by the Federal Highway Administration; and WHEREAS, a prerequisite for inclusion in the 1993 TIP is the adoption of a local resolution saying that: o The project will be built as described above; o $48,235 of total project costs, in local matching funds will be provided by the City of Dublin; and o The City of Dublin understands that the STP/CMAQ funding is fixed at $183,291 and, therefore, any cost increases can not be expected to be funded with STP/CMAQ funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Dublin's City Council, by adopting this resolution of intent, does hereby state that: o The project will be built as described above; o $48,235 of total project costs, in local matching funds will be provided by the City of Dublin; and o The City of Dublin understands that the STP/CMAQ funding is fixed at $183,291 and, therefore, any cost increases can not be expected to be funded with STP/CMAQ funds.
