DESCRIPTION: The Women's Club of Dublin donated $250.00 to the Dublin Senior
Center. In order to accommodate increased attendance at Senior Center functions, Staff intends using the
donation to purchase additional folding tables. A Budget Change Form is attached requesting
appropriation of the funds.
Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Council. Therefore it is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council accept the
gift and direct Staff to prepare formal ~acknowledgement to the donor. Further, it is recommended that the
City Council approve the Budget Change Form recognizing the unanticipated revenue and appropriating
the expense.

REASON FOR BUDGET CHANGE ENTRY: The Dublin Senior Center has received a check in the amount
of $250.00 the Women's Club of Dublin to be used to offset expenses at the Center. The donation will be used
to purchase folding rectangular tables.
