DESCRIPTION: Per the Bylaws and Rules of Procedure:
Parks and Community Services Commissioners are appointed for terms which run four (4) years
beginning in December of even numbered election years and ending in December of an even
numbered election year. At the end of a Commissioner member's term, the Commission member
may be reappointed to the Commission in the some manner as the initial appointment.
Commission members shall be eligible to serve a maximum of eight (8) years with two (2) 4-year
terms.
This applies to all Parks and Community Services Commissioners, with the exception of the Student
Representative, whose term expires June 30th annually.
This year there are three (3) Commissioners with terms expiring in 2014 and two (2) Commissioners with
terms expiring in 2016. Individual Commissioner term expiration dates are listed below:

Commissioners whose terms expire and are eligible for re-appointment must re-apply to be considered
for re-appointment. The application period begins Friday, October 24, 2014 and closes Monday,
December 1, 2014 at 5:00 PM. Applications will be available online at www.dublin.ca.pov, and at the
City Clerk's Office at City Hall, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin.
