A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
APPROVING FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2015-2016 COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on January 22, 2015, the Human Services Commission recommended twenty-two
(22) projects/programs receive grant funding through the Community Grants Program; and
WHEREAS, the Human Services Commission has provided the City Council with Fiscal Year
2015-2016 Community Grants Program funding recommendations; and
WHEREAS, Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, reflects the Fiscal
Year 2015-2016 Community Grants Program funding recommendations (all funds) for the City of
Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the action taken by this resolution shall approve the funding recommendations of
all funds excluding the Dublin Partnerships in Education (DPIE) appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does
hereby take the following actions:
1. Approve and adopt the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 Funding Appropriation for the City of
Dublin Community Grants Program, as outlined in Exhibit A (Column A — Excludes DPIE
Contribution);
2. Approve the allocations as recommended by the Human Services Commission;
3. Include the allocations in the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 budget;
4. Direct staff to work with the County of Alameda as required on the CDBG funding
allocations; and
5. Authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with the County of Alameda for use
of CDBG funds and the funding agreements with each grant recipient effective July 1, 2015, and take
such further actions as may be necessary or appropriate to carry out the City Council's obligations
pursuant to this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of February, 2015, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Biddle, Gupta, Hart, Wehrenberg, and Mayor Haubert
