We have been ,•in operation for two years now and in that time have provided '`fill material to several portions of the Valley; including areas that pass directly thru the San Ramon Valley that lies to the north of Dublin. In the course of our earlier operation, we occasionally had trucks travel on San Ramon Valley Blvd. going thru the City of Dublin. At your request, we rerouted the trucks, so that they traveled thru Dublin on Interstates 580 and 680 staying off your local streets. This resulted in a higher transportation cost, but was done in the spirit of cooperation with the com- munity. We have made, and will continue to make every effort to be a good neighbor. As further evidence of that, we were contacted by representatives of the San Ramon Valley School District, who indicated a need for fill material, for work being done at the high school . We donated ten truck loads of fill material to the School District and were pleased to be of assistance. continued. . . 0 Mr. Richard Ambrose August 5th, 1983 Page Two Our permit will expire in the fall of 1984, and we will soon be making formal application for an extension. I would appreciate some correspondence from the City of Dublin confirming our cooperation with them, and an indication of no objection to our request for this permit extension. Should you require any additional information or a more detailed explanation of our operation, please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Very truly yours, FOOTHILL INVESTMENT COMPANY V v ohn Wyro JW/tmt
