CM Ito asked if additional acts could be added. Staff indicated by adding both youth and senior acts the
program will be expanded.
Ms. Mack suggested soliciting corporate sponsors for monetary or in-kind donations to benefit the
Youth Fee Assistance Program.
CM Ito and CM Krausnick volunteered to be on the Benefit Concert Sub-Committee.
CM Guarienti made the motion to accept CM Ito and CM Krausnick as the Sub-Committee Members to
partner with the Youth Advisory Committee, for the Benefit Concert; CM Bonetti seconded the motion.
The motion was approved 5-0-0.
7.2 Lunch Program Customer Satisfaction Surveys
Staff surveyed patrons, on three different dates, who attended the daily lunch program to gauge their
satisfaction with the program. The purpose of the evaluation was to gather more detailed feedback
about the overall program.
Staff presented the Committee Members with a copy of the evaluation forms and a tally of the results,
and discussed the outcome.
CM Mack suggested, when asking about portions, to use the terms too much, too little, or just right, in
place of excellent, very good, good, fair, or poor.
CM Bonetti indicated that there were people who volunteered in the lunch program, who no longer
volunteered after the program transitioned to Open Heart Kitchen. She believes many of these
volunteers would like to return to the program and their experience in serving would help lunch service
run more efficiently. Staff stated anyone interested in returning to the lunch program may pick up a
paper application from Senior Center Front Desk. The completed applications are forwarded to Open
Heart Kitchen because the lunch program volunteers are considered Open Heart Kitchen volunteers.
Other Business
CM Bonetti provided the Senior Center Foundation report. The Foundation made a profit of$2,500 after
expenses, from the Holiday Boutique. The Boutique will be offered again in 2015. A total of 81 vendors
