3.1 Recognition of Outgoing Senior Center Advisory Comm�ttee Members
Staff recognized outgoing Senior Center Advisory Committee Members Diane Bonetti, Faye Guarienti
and Eddie Jo Mack.They were given certificates of appreciation for their service over the last four years.

7,1 Benefit Concert
7he Senior Center Advisory Committee was asked to discuss their interest to partner with the Youth
Advisory Committee in assisting Staff with the pianning of a Benefit Concert to be held Sunday, April 12,
2015.The concert will benefit the Youth Fee Assistance Program.

CM Ito asked if additional acts cauid be added. Staff indicated by adding both youth anc3 senior acts the
program will be expanded.
Ms. Macic suggested saiiciting corparate sponsors for monetary or in-kind donations to bene#it the
Youth Fee Assistance Prograrn.
CM Ito and CM Krausnick volunteered to be on the Benefit Concert Sub-Committee,
CM Guarienti made the motion to accept CM Ito and CNJ Krausnick as the Sub-Committee Members to
partner with the Youth Advisory Committee, far the Benefit Concert; CM Bonetti seconded the motion.
7he motion was approved 5-0-0.
7.2 lunch Program Customer Satisfaction 5ur�eys
Staff surveyed patrons, on three different dates, who attended the daily lunch program to gauge their
satisfaction with the program. 7he purpose of the evaluation was to gather more detailed feedback
about the overall program.
Staff presented the Committee Members with a copy of the evaluation forms and a tally o#the resu�ts,
and discussed the outcome. -
CM Mack suggested, when asking about portions, to use the terms too much, toa littie, or�ust right, in
place of excellent,very good, good, #air, or poor.
CM Bonetti indicated that there were peopie wi�o volunteered in the iunch program, who no longer
volunteered after the program transitioned to O�en Heart Kitchen. She believes many of these
volunteers would like to return to the program and their experience in serving would help lunch service
run more efficiently. Staff stated anyone interested in returning to the lunch program may pick up a
paper application from Senior Center Front Desk. The campleted applicatians are forwarded to Open
Heart Kitchen because the lunch program volunteers are considered Open Heart Kitchen volunteers.
Other Buslness
CM Bonetti provided the Senior Center Foundation report. The Foundation made a profit o#$2,500 after
expenses, from the Holiday Boutique. The Boutique wi11 be offered again in 2015. A totai of 81 vendors
participated this year.
Ms. Mack, Parks and Community Services Commission Liaison, reported the regular meeting of the
Commission was cancelled, instead a joint meeting was held with #he Heritage Commission.
Staff informed the Committee Members, the Annual Tree Lighting will be held an December 4, and
holiday teas wi11 be offered on December 6-7 at the Heritage Museum.
On December 2, a reception was held for the outgaing Mayor and the ir�coming Mayor.

CM Krausnick thanlced Staff for compiling the Annual Repart Presentation. The report was very well
receivec3 by City Council.
Staff thanked the Senior Center Committee Members far their attendance at Hometown Heroes. Staff
commented the Camps Parks guests were very impressed w9th the Wells Middle Schoa! Jazz Band
performance.
Staff reminded the Senior Center Advisory Committee Members the drop-in fee will increase to $2.00
starting in January 2015.Staff stated a Giving Tree will be offered in the Senior Center (obby.
7he Senior Center Advisory Cornmittee Members were informed the January Senior Center Advisory
Committee meeting will not be held due to the haiiday closure.
