CALL TO ORDER
The February 25, 2015 meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was called to order at 7:03 PM at the
Dublin Senior Center by Vice Chairperson Neil Bedi.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS—Recreation Supervisor Lisa McPherson was introduced to the Committee
and will be Staff Advisor starting the new term beginning in May.

ON A MOTION BY CM NICHI BUTLER, AND SECONDED BY CM IVAN FONG AND BY A
VOTE OF 8-0-0, THE YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE VOTED TO APPROVE THE
MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 28, 2015 AS PRESENTED.

NEW BUSINESS
Benefit Concert to support the Youth Fee Assistance Pro�ram
Staff provided an overview of the Benefit Concert to support the Youth Fee Assistance Program and the
partnership of the Senior Center Advisory Committee and Youth Advisory Committee Members.
Representatives from the Senior Center Advisary Committee attended the meeting to discuss the program
and their partnership. This program will be held at the Shannon Community Center from 2:00-4:00 PM on
Sunday, April 12 where both seniors and teens can perform. Both Advisory Committees will help to
promote the event to teens and seniors to perform their talents, review talent applications, select
performers and handle event day logistics. Applications are on the City Website and the deadline is
Friday, March 25, at 5:00 PM. Funding efforts were discussed to raise funds for the Youth Fee Assistance
Program, and donations of$6.00 will be requested and Youth Advisory Committee Members plan to offer
concession sales.
Youth Advisorv Committee 2014-2015 Annual Reno�-t
Staff provided information on the Youth Advisory Committee 2014-2015 Annual Report regarding a
PowerPoint presentation created by the Advisory Committee members to present at a May City Council
meeting. The PowerPoint will outline the Advisory Committee's accomplishments during their term.
OTHER BUSINESS—
Staff informed Advisory Committee Members of the upcoming events and obtained Advisory Committee
Members to volunteer to assist during the events. The events include the St. Patrick's Day Festival Youth
Advisory Committee booth on March 13 & 14, Tri-Valley Teen and Career Job Fair on March 7, and
Dublin's "Eggstravaganza" egg hunt, on April 4.
