HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 058-90 ROW 2LaneAccessRdRESOLUTION NO. 58 - 90 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN ADOPTING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SIGNIFICANCE CONCERNING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE FOR A NEW TWO LANE ACCESS ROAD CONNECTING TO THE HACIENDA INTERCHANGE AND PARALLEL TO INTERSTATE 580 WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), as amended together with the State's administrative guidelines for implementation regulations, requires that certain projects be reviewed for environmental impact and that environmental documents be prepared; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21000 et seq. a Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance has been prepared by the Dublin Planning Department WHEREAS, proper notice of said Negative Declaration and public hearing was given as legally required; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the project (Two Lane Access Road Connecting to the Hacienda Interchange and parallel to Interstate 580 right-of-way line) will not result in the potential creation of any significant environmental impacts identified in the Initial Study of Environmental Significance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council finds that the Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance has been prepared and processed in accordance with State and Local Environmental Law and Guideline Regulations, and that it is adequate and complete and that the City Council hereby adopts the Negative Declaration. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 14th day of May, 1990. AYES: Councilmembers Hegarty, Jeffery, Snyder, Vonheeder and Mayor Moffat NOES: None ABSENT: None Mayor
