Call to Order
Chairperson Ito called the meeting to order at 9:30 AM.

3.1 Welcome New Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee Members
Staff welcomed Janine Thalblum, Parks and Community Services Liaison.
Approval of the Minutes

CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPROVED THE MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 5, 2015 WITH CM BRIZEE

7.1 2015 St. Patrick's Day Celebration Festivities
Staff provided the Advisory Committee Members with an overview of the activities planned for the St.
Patrick's Day Celebration on March 13 — 15, 2015.

7.2 Youth Fee Assistance Program Benefit Concert
The Youth Fee Assistance Program Benefit Concert is scheduled at the Shannon Community Center on
Sunday, April 12 at 12:00 PM. This fundraising event will raise monies for the Youth Fee Assistance
Program. This year the Senior Center Advisory Committee is partnering with Youth Advisory Committee
to help with the pre-planning of this event.
Sub-Committee Members Krausnick and Ito attended a joint meeting with the Youth Advisory
Committee on February 25. CM Ito suggested Staff contact some of the entertainers from the Senior
Center to ask if they would like to participate.
7.3 Senior Center Marquee
Meghan Tiernan, Parks and Facilities Development Coordinator presented the Advisory Committee
Members an overview of the project. Staff is exploring the installation of a marquee and the study is in
the preliminary stages of researching location, cost, vendors, and partnership with the Senior Center
Foundation.
Staff noted there are still ongoing discussions about what will be included in the signage.
CM Lore suggested reviewing traffic studies to determine which of the intersections being considered
gets more traffic,
George Zika, Senior Center Foundation representative stated the Foundation is asking the City for cost
estimates on both locations, coloring and who will pay for the upkeep of the marquee.
Other eusiness
George Zika reported the Foundation will be participating in Dublin Pride. The Foundation will have
limited involvement with fireworks sales this year.
Staff noted the Emerald Glen Recreation and Aquatic Complex groundbreaking is Friday, March 6 and
that lunch will be provided.
