The April 22, 2015 meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was called to order at 7:07 PM at the
Dublin Senior Center by Chairperson Jessie Sller.

Dublin Librarian Mary Ayers informcd the Youth Advisory Conunittee Members about a swnmer
vol�inteer opportunity at the Dublin Library. A ncw �vo�-kshop '`Teen Tech" is designed to have volunteer
teens teach adults how to operate their elcctronic dcvices. The first "Teen Tecl�" workshop will be on
Satucday, June 27 from 2:00 -4:00 PM at the Dublin Library.

Youth Advi�ory C'ommittec 2014-201� Annual llenort Yresentation Yrcvicw
Chairperson Sher and Vice C}�airperson Bedi presented the 2014-2015Youth Advisory Committee Annual
Report presentation to the Youth Advisory Committec Membecs. The pcesentation highlighted the
Advisory Committee's voluntecr efforts durinb City events, Youth Mini Grant and donations raised for
the Dublin Youth Fee Assistance Program. The Annual Report is sclleduled to be presented at the May
18, 2015 Parks and Comtnunity Services meeting and the May 19, 2015 City Council meeting.
OTHER B USINESS—
The City of San Ramon's Youth Advisory Committee will be hosting a Tri-Valley Youth Advisory
Committee round table event from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Dougherty
Station Com�nunity Center in San Ramon.
The deadline for applications for the 2015-2016 tcrm are due on "I�hucsday, Ap��il 30, 2015 at 5:00 PM.
The application can be submitted to the Parks and Community Services office at 100 Civic Plaza. The
2015-2016 Youth Advisory Committee is scheduled to be appointed at the May 19, 2015 City Council
meeting.
Over fifty people attended the Youth 13cnefit Concei-t on Sunday, April 12 at the Shai�non Community
Center. Teens and seniors from the Dublin Community showcased a varicty of talent railging from a
pianist, hip hop dancers, vocalists, ukulele jam group and Hula dancers. The event raised $346 in
donations for the Dublin Youth Fee Assistance Program.
Staff thanked the Youth Advisory Committee Members for all tlleir hard work and volunteer assistance at
various City events during the 2014-2015 term.
