The meeting was called to order at 7:07p.m., by Mayor Haubert. Arpan halal provided public comment on this item. On motion of Vm. Gupta, seconded by Mayor Haubert, and by majority vote (Cms. Biddle and Hart voting no), the City Council requested the interested resident determine if he wanted to move forward with the event, without fireworks. If the resident was still interested, Staff would work with him on a Diwali celebration which would include waiving the park fee, minimal Staff time advertising on the City's website, a press release, and utilization of MCE with cleanup.
