DESCRIPTION The City has received a letter from the Dublin Chamber
of Commerce protesting the City ' s approval of a
conditional use permit to allow pet vaccination
clinics . The Chamber requests that the City Council
reconsider permitting weekend businesses to operate
within the City.

Dear Mayor Snyder & Council Members:
The Dublin City Council at its regular meeting of September 12, 1983
approved d conditional use permit for an outside animal Clinic at the Payless
Shopping Center parking lot for administering shots to Cats and dogs.
The Dublin Chamber Of Commerce formally protests such action Of allowing
an outside source t0 set Up business in d parking lot when there are well
established qualified veterinarians in the City Of Dublin who are paying
property taxes DS well as sales t8X.
It is the established businesses in the area that generate sales tax dollars
that made Dublin becoming a city d reality.
The Chamber strongly urges the City of Dublin to reconsider such action Of
allowing a "weekend" type business coming into the area when they do not pay
taxes or support the Dublin C000Unitv as a whole.
