gikRECOMMENDATION Authorize City Manager's attendance at the
International City Management Association Conference
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Approximate cost - $1,400. Sufficient funds are
included in the Budget for this conference.
DESCRIPTION The International City Management Association (ICMA)
Conference is being held in Montreal, Canada from October 25-29, 1987.
The purpose of this conference is to build and develop the organization and
development skills of the manager. The City Manager's attendance at this
conference and participation in this organization also provides an
opportunity to learn new management techniques from other communities, as
well as to promote the City of Dublin.
The conference will last approximately 5 days and will cost approximately
$1, 400.
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager's
attendance at this conference.
