The City Council authorized Staff to advertise the availability of five seats on this committee. The Council agreed that each Councilmember would make an individual appointment to the Committee. It is Staff ' s understanding that each Councilmember is prepared to announce their appointment to the Senior Citizen Center Advisory Committee. It is Staff ' s recommendation that the Council announce the appointments at the January 11, 1988, City Council meeting, in order that the Committee can begin working with the Staff and Park & Recreation Commission.
