FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION The City has received a letter from the Alameda County
Registrar of Voters requesting City support for the use of public facilities
as polling places .
Staff has prepared a Resolution of support.
It is recommended that the Council adopted the Resolution and instruct Staff
to forward a copy of the Resolution to the Registrar of Voters.

R-87-927, regarding the use of public facilities as polling places, which was
adopted on December 22, 1987.
The resolution requests that a policy resolution be adopted supporting the use
of the public facilities, within your area, as polling places and that your
staff cooperate fully with any such request.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda,
State of California, does hereby request that each City, Special District and
School District in Alameda County adopt a policy resolution supporting the
use of their public facilities as polling places and requesting their staff to
cooperate fully with any such request.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF. THE CITY OF DUBLIN

ADOPTING A-POLICY
SUPPORTING THE USE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES
AS POLLING PLACES
WHEREAS, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, on
December 22, 1987, adopted a resolution requesting that each City,
Special District and School District in Alameda County adopt a
policy resolution supporting the use of their public facilities as
polling places .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Dublin does hereby adopt a.policy supporting the use
of public facilities in Dublin as polling places, and direct Staff
to cooperate fully with any such request.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of January,
1988.
