i` CITY OF DUBLIN AGENDA STATEMENT City Council Meeting Date: August 8, 1988 SUBJECT: Sewer Access Easements Alamo Creek Park EXHIBITS ATTACHED: 1) Resolution 2) Grant Deed 3) Location Map RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution approving grant of easement and authorize Mayor to execute. FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None. DESCRIPTION: • A DSRSD sewer line crosses the Alamo Creek Park property, with two manholes located just off Dougherty Road, as shown on Exhibit 3 attached. The District has requested access easements in order to service the manholes. This area will be "paved" with GrassCells, a type of all-weather surface which allows grass to grow, so that the District's trucks can access the manholes without compromising the appearance of the park. Due to the wording on the Tract Map (5511) , DSRSD has requested that the developer, Rafanelli and Nahas, also sign the easement deed. Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the resolution approving the grant of easement. ITEM NO. <a COPIES TO: DSRSD Rafanelli & Nahas c - , RESOLUTION NO. -88 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN GRANTING ACCESS EASEMENTS TO THE - DUBLIN SAN RAMON SERVICES DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Dublin San Ramon Services District is desirous of an access easement through City of Dublin property (Alamo Creek Park) for access for pedestrians, vehicles, and equipment for the purpose of facilitating maintenance and inspection of sewer manholes; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Dublin to grant said easement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin approves said grant of easement to the Dublin San Ramon Services District.
