Liti designating two representatives of the
Council to serve on a Liaison Committee with
representatives from the Dublin Unified School
District .
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION In 1988 , the City Council and Board of Trustees of the
Dublin Unified School District met in joint session to discuss issues that
were common to both the City and the School District . At that meeting , it
was agreed that the Staff of both agencies would work on the development of
a Joint Use Recreation Facilities Agreement . Staff has developed such an
agreement and has had some preliminary meetings with School District Staff
to review the contents of that agreement .
In order to facilitate the review of that agreement at the policy level , the
Mayor and President of the Board of Trustees of Dublin Unified School
District have suggested that both agencies designate Liaison Committee
representatives to work with Staff in refining the draft Joint Use
Recreation Facilities Agreement prior to presenting the agreement to the
full Board of each agency.
It is Staff ' s recommendation that the Council consider designating two
representatives from the Council to function in a Liaison Committee capacity
with the Dublin Unified School District .
