REGULAR MEETING –MARCH 1, 2016
A regular meeting of the Dublin City Council was held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, in the City
Council Chambers of the Dublin Civic Center. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., by
Mayor Haubert.

Utility Box Art Pilot Project

On motion of Cm. Wehrenberg, seconded by Mayor Haubert and by unanimous vote, the City
Council approved the budget change allocating $8,000 from the Public Art Fund for the purpose
of implementing a Utility Box Art Pilot Program, and directed Staff to return this item to the
Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission for implementation.

Council moved its regular meeting in January to the second Tuesday of the month.

By consensus, the City Council agreed to have a special meeting on Thursday, March 3, 2016,

Dublin High School Irish Guard to Dublin, Ireland to march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Council Chambers of the Dublin Civic Center. The meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m., by
Mayor Haubert.

2. Consideration of Funding a Portion of the Cost of Sending Dublin High
School Irish Guard to Dublin, Ireland to March in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Diana Everts, Band Tour Coordinator, provided public comment on this item.
On motion of Mayor Haubert, seconded by Cm. Wehrenberg and by unanimous vote
(Cms. Hart and Gupta absent), the City Council agreed to reimburse an amount not to
exceed $6,500 toward the sponsorship of the Dublin High School Irish Guard trip to
Dublin, Ireland to march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
