SUBJECT Acceptance of Right-of-Way Dedication at 7900 Dublin
Boulevard (Blancarte Building)

dedication and bus stop easement dedication

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: No initial financial cost to the City. The right-of-
way contains developer improvements 12 feet wide along
Dublin Boulevard . The City will ultimately assume
maintenance responsibilities .
When bus stop improvements , including a shelter are
approved for this location, the City of Dublin may be
responsible for installation and maintenance costs .
DESCRIPTION As part of the development review of the Blancarte
building at 7900 Dublin Boulevard , the City required the property owner to
dedicate 12 feet of right-of-way and construct the improvements for a
right-turn lane from Dublin Boulevard onto Regional Street . The developer
was also required to dedicate a 5 foot easement for future bus stop
improvements .
In order to consumate this condition, it is necessary for the City Council
to adopt a resolution accepting the offer of right-of-way and bus stop
easement dedication.

ACCEPTING, FOR THE PUBLIC , A DEED FOR DEDICATION FOR A 12 FOOT
STRIP OF PROPERTY TO BE USED AS STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ON DUBLIN
BOULEVARD AND A 5 FOOT EASEMENT STRIP OF PROPERTY
TO BE USED FOR BUS STOP RELATED FACILITIES
WHEREAS , the City of Dublin has set the right-of-way
width of Dublin Boulevard at 100 foot , plus 12 feet for right turn
lane at the southwest corner of Dublin Boulevard and Regional
Street ; and
WHEREAS , as a condition of development 12 feet of
right-of-way widening was required to meet the City' s ultimate
right-of-way request ; and
WHEREAS , there exists or will exist , a bus stop at this
same corner; and
WHEREAS , as a condition of development , a 5 foot
easement was required to meet this need for bus stop related
improvements ; and
WHEREAS , the owner of the project at 7900 Dublin
Boulevard , Dublin Partnership , has offered for dedication this
right-of-way and easement .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City
Council does hereby accept this offer of deed of Dedication for
public street purposes and dedication of easement for bus stop
purposes on behalf- of the public .
PASSED , APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of March,
1985 .

Beginning at the most northerly corner of Parcel B of Parcel Map 2018 recorded
in Book 97 of Parcel Maps at Page 24,' official Alameda County Records;
Thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING along the northeasterly line of said
Parcel B South 20° 51'45" East 12.00 feet;
Thence along a line parallel with'and lying 62.00 feet (perpendicular distance)
southeasterly of the monument line of said Dublin Boulevard, as said monu-
ment line is shown on said Parcel Map, North 69°08'15" East 96.00 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description;
Thence from said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING continuing along said parallel line
North 69°08'15" East 50.00 feet;
Thence leaving said parallel line at a right angle South 20°51 '45" East 5.00
