SUBJECT: Approval of Final Map, Tract 5402 , and
Acceptance of Grant Deed for Parkland

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None at this time. Staff ' s time for
processing and inspection is being paid
by Developer . After acceptance of
improvements, City will assume
maintenance responsibility of Iglesia
Drive, Soleado Court, Santo Court , Regio
Court, Juarez Court, and Obispo Court .
DESCRIPTION:
Improvement plans and the Final Map for Tract 5402 have been
reviewed and found to be in conformance with the Tentative Map
and conditions approved by City Council Resolution No. 64-85 .
A Subdivision Agreement, Bond, and Fees have been submitted
guaranteeing the construction of improvements within the subject
Tract .
This Tract creates 88 single-family lots located at the
Dolan School site, which is bounded by Padre Way, Creekside
Drive, and Castilian Road. The subdivider is dedicating 0 . 97
acres for park purposes as his parkland dedication requirement .
On January 13 , 1986 , the City Council approved an agreement with
the Murray School District to purchase 4 . 03 acres at this site .
The 0 . 97 acre parcel and the 4 . 03 acre parcel are continguous and
will provide a 5-acre park site as shown on the City's General
Plan .

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

ACCEPTANCE OF FINAL MAP
TRACT NO. 5402
WHEREAS, the Final Map of Tract No. 5402 in the
incorporated territory of the City of Dublin, State of
California, has been presented to this City Council for approval,
all in accordance with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act
of the State of California and the Ordinance Code of the County
of Alameda, as adopted and amended by the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the Developer , Far West Associates, Ltd. , has
executed and filed with this City Council a contract to improve
Tract No. 5402 in accordance with the Final Map of said Tract No.
5402 and Tract Improvement Plans and the specifications attached
thereto; and
WHEREAS, said contract is secured by a bond in the
amount of $1 , 020 ,000 , which, by said terms, is made to inure to
the City of Dublin, conditioned upon the performance of said
contract ; and
WHEREAS, said contract is secured by a bond in the
amount of $510 , 000 , which, by its terms, is made to inure to the
benefit of laborers and materialmen for labor performed or
material furnished under the terms of said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said contract and
bonds be and they are hereby approved, and the Mayor ,of this
Council be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Contract on behalf of the City of Dublin; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Final Map of Tract No.
5402 be and the same is hereby approved; and that Iglesia Drive,
Soleado Court, Santo Court , Regio Court , Juarez Court, and Obispo
Court as shown on said Map, be and they are hereby accepted as
public highways in conformance with the terms of the Offer of
Dedication; and that those strips of land designated "P.U. E. " or
"Public Utility Easement, " "S .D. E. " or "Storm Drain Easement, "
and "S.S . E. " or "Sanitary Sewer Easement" as offered for
dedication for public use in conformity with the Offer of
Dedication, be and they are hereby accepted; and that the Clerk
of this City Council be and is hereby directed to transmit said
map to the County Recorder for filing.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 27th day of January,
1986 .

ACCEPTING FOR THE PUBLIC A GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, a five-acre park is planned at the Dolan
School site; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved an agreement to
purchase 4 . 03 acres from the Murray School District; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider of Tract 5402 at the Dolan
School site has submitted a grant deed for 0 . 97 acres to satisfy
the parkland dedication requirements of this Tract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City
