SUBJECT: City Hall Site - Authorization to begin
design drawings for street and park
improvements.

RECOMMENDATION: ) Authorize Staff to proceed with
grading and street improvement
plans .
2 ) Authorize Staff to negotiate a
contract for landscaping design
work .
FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
Preliminary Estimated Costs are as follows :
Street improvements including sewer and water
extensions and parking for relocated fields: $190 , 000 . 00
Landscaping, irrigation, and field improvement: 1451000 . 00
Move existing building and construct new restrooms : 55 , 000 . 00
390 ,000 . 00
Estimated design cost @ 8% : 31 , 000 . 00
Estimated inspection cost @ 4% : 16 , 000 .00
TOTAL: 437 , 000 . 00
DESCRIPTION:
As part of the City Hall site work , it is necessary to,'
relocate soccer and baseball fields within the Dublin Sports
Grounds . The ideal time to begin construction is just after
baseball season in July. In order to meet the schedule for this
July, the City must immediately begin design plans and
specifications .
Staff anticipates initial negotiations with Calendar and
Associates, who has done the preliminary plans for Dublin San
Ramon Services District for the .design of park improvements .
