Introduction of Dublin Police Services Lieutenant Victor Fox

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will be introduced to Lieutenant Victor Fox, who has joined Dublin Police
Services, following the retirement of Lieutenant Herb Walters.

Welcome Dublin Police Services’ Lieutenant Victor Fox.

DESCRIPTION:
Lieutenant Fox has 14 years of service with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) and
has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of California, Los Angeles.
During his time with the Sheriff’s Office, he has worked at Santa Rita Jail and the Eden
Township Substation. He spent five years working in the Community Oriented Policing and
Problem Solving Unit. Lt. Fox assisted with the development of numerous crime prevention
programs through homeowner associations and neighborhood watch groups.
Lt. Fox also brings along almost a decade of experience as a member of ACSO’s Special
Response Unit. His current capacity is a Tactical Commander responsible for the development
and management of high risk tactical operations. He is also a firearms, active shooter, and less
lethal instructor.
