RECOMMENDATION `�06�Adopt Resolution ordering the Annexation of
approximately 14.9 acres to the City of Dublin.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT None.
DESCRIPTION: This item is for adoption of the final resolution ordering the
annexation of the Kaufman & Broad Multi-Family Residential Property located
west of the City boundary at Silvergate Drive and Rolling Hills Drive.
In January, 1986, the City Council concluded its public hearing and adopted:
1) a Resolution directing Staff to file an annexation application with LAFCO,
2) a Resolution approving the property tax exchange and 3) an Ordinance
prezoning the Kaufman & Broad property (PA 85-017) to PD (Planned
Development).
As directed by the City Council, Staff submitted the annexation application
packets to LAFCO in August, 1986.
LAFCO held a public hearing and approved annexation No. 6 on October 16, 1986,
authorizing the City to proceed with the annexation without holding a public
hearing, and requiring any correction to the map and description as may be
required by the County Director of Public Works.
Staff recommends adoption of the attached draft resolution ordering the
annexation of Kaufman & Broad Multi-Family Residential Property to the City of
Dublin.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

APPROVING CITY OF DUBLIN ANNEXATION NO. 6
KAUFMAN & BROAD MULTI-FAMILY PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3-86, approved January 13, 1986, at a
public hearing, the Dublin City Council initiated the annexation of certain
uninhabited territory designated as "City of Dublin Annexation No. 6 - Kaufman
& Broad Multi-Family Residential Planned Development 14.9 acres; and
WHEREAS, all land owners in said territory consented to said
annexation; and
WHEREAS, on October 16, 1986, LAFCO held a public hearing at the
times, in the form, and in the manner provided by law, considered the petition
of the City; and
WHEREAS, LAFCO has approved Annexation No. 6 subject to the
following conditions:
a) Correction of the map and description as may be required by the Director
of Public Works, ex-officio County Surveyor; and
b) The City be authorized to proceed without notice or hearing; and
WHEREAS, Said conditions imposed by LAFCO have been fully
satisfied, or will be satisfied;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Dublin City Council does
hereby find that:
Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Division 3 Cortese-
Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985, Government Code ( ( 56000 et
seq. , the Council approves and orders, without election, the annexation of that
real property situated in the County of Alameda, State of California
(designated as "City of Dublin Annexation No. 6 - Kaufman & Broad Multi-Family
Residential Planned Development" and more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the City of Dublin.
Section 2. The reason for said annexation is to provide for
consistent and orderly development to insure that essential municipal services
are provided to the subject property.
Section 3. The regular county assessment roll will be utilized.
Section 4. The real property to be annexed will not be taxed for
existing general bonded indebtedness by the City of Dublin.
Section 5. That the City Clerk is directed to send a certified
copy of this resolution to the LAFCO Executive Officer.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of October, 1986.

TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN
All that certain real property situated in the Township of
Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Parcel 1, Annexation
#1, as adopted by Resolution #33 - 85 by the Dublin City
Council on May 13, 1985; thence along the easterly boundary of
said Parcel 1, North 19014116" East, 114.14 feet; thence North
2012138" East, 93.98 feet, thence North 4017120" West, 88.08
feet to a non-tangent curve; thence along the arc of said non-
tangent curve whose radius point bears north 23051155" West
379.00 feet, through a central angle of 7040108", an arc
distance of 50.73 feet to a point of reverse tangent curve;
thence along the arc of said tangent curve whose radius point
bears South 31032103" East 321.00 feet, through a central angle
of 62029116", an arc distance of 350.09 feet to a point of
reverse tangent curve; thence along said tangent curve whose

non-tangent curve, thence along the arc of said non-tangent
curve whose radius point bears South 87001110" West 860.00 feet
through a central angle of 6039141", an distance of 99.99 feet;
thence South 80021133" East, 253.05 feet to a non tangent
curve; thence along the arc of said non-tangent curve whose
