Silver RE: Municipal Code - Private Patrol Watchmen Alameda County Code Title 2 , Chapter 7 regulates private patrol watchmen. State law (Business and Professions Code S 7520 et seq. ) requires such persons to be licensed by the State. I have revised the County ordinance consistent with the provisions of the Business and Professions Code. I deleted several sections from the current County ordinance inasmuch as they appear to be covered by Business and Professions Code S§ 7520 et seq. (see § 7539, in particular) . Elizabeth H.
