TO: Waste Managment Authority — Agency Managers
FROM: William H. Fraley, Secretary
SUBJECT: Appointment of Members and Alternates
The Alameda County Solid Waste Management Authority will be terminated on
January 27, 1988 and the Alameda County Waste Management Authority will be
initiated on the same date.
The Authority counsel requests that each member agency designate by
appropriate procedure the member and alternate to represent the agency on the
new "Waste Management Authority" effective as of January 27, 1988. This .is a
technicality but one that is necessary to assure that no member's vote on the
new Authority can be challenged. This action should be accomplished as soon
as possible but no later than the meeting of the Waste Management Authority on
February 24, 1988.
Please forward a copy of the resolution or letter designating the name of the
member and alternate from your agency to serve on the Waste Management Board.
Thank you for your assistance in this technical but important matter.
