A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ACCEPTING THE TRACT IMPROVEMENTS AND
APPROVING REGULATORY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES FOR
TRACT 7652, NEIGHBORHOOD 6, SORRENTO EAST
WHEREAS, Standard Pacific Corporation, a Delaware Corporation, the developer of Tract
7652, previously entered into a Tract Improvement Agreement dated July 19, 2011, (Resolution No.
122-11) with the City of Dublin, to complete tract improvements associated with 7652, in accordance
with plans and specifications on file with the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the developer provided the following Faithful Performance and Labor & Materials
Bonds
• $600,00.00 for Tract 7652 Public Improvements
• $517,000.00 for Tract 7652 Private Improvements
• $1,306,000.00 for Palermo Way Improvements constructed with Tract 7652
for the amounts and scopes of work listed above to guarantee the installation of the respective
improvements; and
WHEREAS, City Council previously approved (Resolution No. 184-12) the partial release of
the Faithful Performance and Labor & Materials Bonds for the Palermo Way Improvements
constructed with Tract 7652 to an amount equal to $326,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the improvements are now complete in accordance with said plans and
specifications, and any modifications thereto, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, certain traffic regulatory devices have been installed as part of the tract
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Faithful Performance Bonds and Labor and Materials Bonds can be released,
in accordance with the authority contained in Section 66499.7 of the Government Code of the State
of California, and may be replaced with a Warranty Bonds to guarantee the completed work for a
one-year period; and
WHEREAS, Standard Pacific Corporation has provided the following Warranty Bonds issued
by Safeco Insurance Company of America
• $150,000.00 (Bond No. 6753810), to guarantee the Tract 7652 Public Improvements
• $129,250.00 (Bond No. 6753809), to guarantee Tract 7652 Private Improvements
• $326,500.00 (Bond No. 6753808), to guarantee the Palermo Way Improvements
constructed with Tract 7652
for the amounts and scopes of work listed above to guarantee the respective improvements against
defects for a one year period.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. The Tract 7652 Public Improvement, Tract 7652 Private Improvements and Palermo
Way Improvements constructed with Tract 7652 are hereby approved and accepted
subject to a one-year guarantee period.
2. The following Warranty Bonds issued by Safeco Insurance Company of America for the
amounts and scopes of work listed below be accepted as security for the aforesaid one-
year warranty period, said period to commence on this date and terminate on the 19th
day of April, 2017
• $150,000.00 (Bond No. 6753810), to guarantee the Tract 7652 Public
Improvements
• $129,250.00 (Bond No. 6753809), to guarantee Tract 7652 Private
Improvements
• $326,500.00 (Bond No. 6753808), to guarantee the Palermo Way Improvements
constructed with Tract 7652.
3. The following original Faithful Performance Bonds issued by Safeco Insurance
Company of America for the amounts and scopes of work listed below, be released
• $600,00.00 (Bond No. 6753810) for Tract 7652 Public Improvements
• $517,000.00 (Bond No. 6753809) for Tract 7652 Private Improvements
• $326,500.00 (Bond No. 6753808) Palermo Way Improvements constructed
with Tract 7652.
4. The following original Labor & Materials Bonds issued by Safeco Insurance Company of
America for the amounts and scopes of work listed below, be released in accordance
with the requirements of Section 66499.7 of the Government Code of the State of
California
• $600,00.00 (Bond No. 6753810) for Tract 7652 Public Improvements
• $517,000.00 (Bond No. 6753809) for Tract 7652 private improvements
• $326,500.00 (Bond No. 6753808) for Palermo Way Improvements
constructed with Tract 7652.
5. The traffic regulatory devices installed by the developer within the development are
hereby included in the City of Dublin Traffic Code, said regulatory devices to include the
following:
A. "STOP" signs and markings installed at the following intersections:
• Vittoria Loop at Palermo Way

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April, 2016, by the following vote:
