FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. RECOMMENDATION: Receive the Report. DESCRIPTION: The Parks and Communiry Services Director annually develops a Woxk Plan which is largely based on Ciry Council's and Ciry Manager's strategic priorities for the upcoming fiscal year. The Work Plan identifies a Manager responsible for each item, and the Manager provides progress updates throughout the year. New items may be added mid-year, and items may be delayed for a variety of reasons. Each item has a "close-out," rks and Comm uni Services De artment in the Pa p oes to Ci Council or is built. The Cultural Arts and Heritage Manager's items for 2015-16 are: • Development of Hay Barn Exhibits at Heritage Park • Completion of public art at Emerald Glen Park • Inventory and maintenance plan for Ciry's public art collection • Coordinate public art for Moller Ranch development • Coordinate public art for Bay West development (former Crown Chevy site) • Digitize Cemetery records and create GIS layer for cemetery data ITEM N0: 8.1 • Identify sponsor-able programs and assets for enrire department and create sponsorship packet • Coordinate installation of art for McCormick Rose Garden • Implement Arts Space Granring Program • Public art selecrion for Veteran's Memorial at Heritage Park and Museums,Pioneer Cemetery • Complete Dublin Camp Parks Military History Center These items are in addition to a manager's day-to-day duties, which include Staff supervision, facilities management, programs, budget, serving on Ciry and Department corrunittees and Department management team, preparing and presenring Council reports, providing Commission support and "other duties as assigned." The Cultural Arts and Heritage Manager's current scope of responsibility is: Heritage & Cultural Arts: Heritage Park and Museums, Pioneer Cemetery, historical exhibits, historical tours and educarion programs,teas, cultural arts classes and camps,public art Special Events: St. Patrick's Day, Splatter, Spring Fair, Harvest Fair, Farmer's Markets, Outdoor Movies, Eggstravaganza, Tree Lighting, Breakfast with Santa, Family Campouts, communiry outreach events and sponsorships City-wide responsibilities: Serving on Team Dublin and the Citywide Communications and Branding team.
