FINANCIAL STATEMENT Increase Aquatics Program Budget from $150,529
to $152,051; Increase Aquatics Program Revenue
from $50, 360 to $51, 882 . Net Cost To City - $0
DESCRIPTION On June 26, 1990 , the City Council adopted the
Preliminary Budget and Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 1990-91. The
approved budget includes $150, 360 in funding for the Aquatics Program
and $50, 360 in estimated Aquatics Revenue.
On August 4, 1990 , the Dublin Recreation Department hosted the
Tri-Valley Swim League Championship Meet at the Dublin Swim Center.
As the hosting agency, the City was responsible for all aspects of the
meet from securing staff to purchasing awards and refreshments. The
City received $1 , 522 in fees from the participating teams.
As the expenses nor revenue from the Tri-Valley Swim League
Championship Meet were not provided for in the Aquatics program
Budget, is necessary to make the following adjustments to the Aquatics
Program Budget:
1 . Authorize a supplemental appropriation in the amount of
$1 ,522 to account number 8100-713 , Aquatics, Operating
Supplies.
2 . Increase revenue account number 1000-565-020, Aquatics
Revenue, by $1,522.
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached resolution
approving a supplemental appropriation of the General Funds in the
amount of $1,522 . Further, it is recommended that Staff be directed
to increase the estimated Aquatics Revenue in the same amount, $1,522 .

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF'
GENERAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,522
WHEREAS, the City earned $1, 522 from the Tri-Valley Swim League
Championships; and
WHEREAS, this additional revenue was not anticipated at the time
that the 1990-91 City Budget was published; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to use these funds for
expenditures within the same activity as generated the money.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Dublin does hereby approve this Supplemental Appropriation of
$1, 522 of General Fund money for operating supplies in the Aquatics
Division within the Recreation Department.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of September, 1990.
