FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: On September 27, 1990, Dublin Police Services and the
City of Dublin received the annual Troy G. Grove Award from the East Bay
Consortium for Elder Abuse Prevention. This award is in recognition of the
outstanding effort in the area of elder abuse prevention and awareness.
The programs recognized by the Consortium are ongoing presentations such as
Crime Senior Alert, Senior Safety, Earthquake Preparedness, personal safety
seminars, and a senior directory.
Dublin Police Services' Crime Prevention Unit has been associated with the
East Bay Elder Abuse Consortium for the last five years.
This is the first time that the Consortium has presented the "Troy Grove
award" to a police agency.

This year, the Consortium recognizes the outstanding efforts made by persons in
preventing elder abuse in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties . The Consortium's
Nomination Committee is happy to inform you of your nomination for the Troy
Grove Award.
The Troy Gove Annual Awards Dinner and Service Auction will be held on
Thursday, September 27, 1990 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Casa De La
Vista on the Naval Station-Treasure Island, San Francisco. During the dinner,
the four (4) Nominees who have been selected for special recognition will be
presented with a beautiful plaque .
The dinner is at no cost to you. To request additional Invitations for your
