SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
February 4, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Dublin Community Grants Program Subcommittee ("Committee") was held on
February 4, 2013 in the Dublin Civic Center, City Manager's Conference Room, 100 Civic Plaza,
Dublin. Mayor Tim Sbranti called the meeting to order at 7:11 AM.
ATTENDEES
Tim Sbranti, Mayor; Keven Hart, Vice Mayer; Amy Cunningham, Assistant to the City Manager; and,
Anastasia Nelson, Recording Secretary.
PUBLIC MEETING
Ms. Amy Cunningham, Assistant to the City Manager, presented the purpose of the Subcommittee
and briefly discussed the legal relationships between the Department of Housing and Urban
Development, the County, and the City, as outlined in the Agenda.
Ms. Cunningham presented the Subcommittee with instructions regarding the online Grant process
through Zoom Grants.
Ms. Cunningham then presented the timelines and next steps for the Grant application process.
Mayer Sbranti asked if an organization is required to have an audit to receive grant funding. Ms.
Cunningham stated that an audit is not required to receive grant funding and that usually 501(c)
organizations have been audited.
Mayer Sbranti asked Ms. Cunningham for a breakdown of the dollar amount available from each fund:
Community Development Block Grant Program, the Community Support Grant account, and the
Housing In -Lieu Fee account. Mayer Sbranti then asked for clarification of which fund an applicant is
eligible for and a historical record of what was funded last year. Ms. Cunningham replied that she
would provide it to the council members after the meeting.
