RECOMMENDATION: Receive report

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: Staff will discuss the 2010-2011 YAC application. Staff encourages
current Committee Members to reapply, and also asks them to encourage other teens to apply. Staff will
provide information to the public and private Middle Schools and High Schools in Dublin regarding the
2010-2011 Youth Advisory Committee application process.
Staff will create a press release to distribute to local media, post the YAC application on the City website,
as well as the teen website to recruit new applicants. Staff will solicit ideas from the Youth Advisory
Committee Members on how to get more students to apply. •
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Youth Advisory Committee receive the report.
