Commission, City Council and City Staff.

Committee; and promote youth activities and provide support for successful implementation of
youth activities and events.
Goals are important to establish so Committee Members can describe what they want to accomplish and
how to get it done. If goals are not established, it may be.difficult for Committee Members to stay
focused. A goal describes what a specific activity or program is about and what it will accomplish. .
Following were the goals from 2007-2008:

the Oakland Children's Hospital. Over$600 was donated the hospital.

School Recreation Staff.

In the process of developing goals, the Youth Advisory Committee should consider issues and interests of
Dublin youth and teens. Issues to consider are scheduling activities and events in the interest of both middle
school and high school youth. The Committee should also consider youth participation in City sponsored
special events, and how to improve the advertising of these events.
